It was a heart breaking experience, but I knew I was going to have to find myself a replacement as I couldn't neglect my records for long. After a bit of research I stumbled upon this Audio Technica PL120. Looking at it, it isn't that rustic turntable that I grew up with, but upon closing my eyes the PL120 sounded even better than I remember my old turntable sounding, not to mention it has many great features that my old turntable didn't and I was priced very reasonably. Sarah19 writes: i just started collecting vinyl a few months back. i had been using my roommates record player in college but since moving back home for the summer i couldnt use her record player anymore. i didnt have much money to spend as i was putting a lot of money away for the next semester of college but i managed to save up enough money for this turntable. luckily it was such a great price! it works great and was not too hard to set up, i did have to have my dad help me as he has a complex sound system but after all the set up it works like a charm and i again have something to play my records on. it sounds even better than my roommates recordplayer and I could not be any happier with that fact! I would recommend this to anybody like me who likes vinyl!
